Inspired by a real story, the project is a feature-length dramatic film which explores how marital rights affect gay bi-national couples. A thought-provoking and unique love story, the film follows two remarkable women - Chloe is French, Emma is American - who build a life together in the States. That life is jeopardized when Chloe’s visa is endangered. We discover that being a foreigner is much like being a gay person in a family – one has to be exceptional to be accepted. So much is expected, so little is granted.
